Laura has acquired most of her dog behavioural knowledge from working in kennels, rescue centres and working with her own, and family and friends dogs.
From the age of 11 years old, after owning her first dog, Laura has been studying wild canine (wolf) behaviour and learning how that applies to our domestic dogs in everyday activities.
She has a passion for working with dogs with behavioural issues after rescuing and rehoming many that would have had an uncertain future otherwise.
Laura owns five dogs that once were difficult to rehome but now live in harmony with each other, other animals and children. Rehabilitation has enabled these dogs to become successful therapy dogs visiting nursing homes and children’s hospices.
Laura has a degree in animal behaviour, allowing her to explain your dog’s behaviour from both a scientific and psychological point of view.
